We went to toysruns this afternoon beforer we went to grand Ma’s sister home to have family gathering dinner.  First time, Mom bought me a trendy toy.  I saw other kids playing with it in the park before.  Though I can’t really manage to make the gyro rotate by myself, I am excited on playing it with Dad. 

Concert

Dad took me to a Contemporary Choral Music concert.  It took place in Academy Concert Hall.  I was scared a bit in the beginning because it was the first time I have been to a concert hall.  Everything is new to me.  I kept on asking questions until the concert started, I quickly fall into the music.  I whispered a bit during the performance and Dad asked me saved my question after the song is finished.

After the 2nd last performance, Dad thought I was tired and wanted to take me home earlier.  When I walked out the hall, I told Dad I wanted to listen more.  We enjoyed the whole concert finally.

Kindergarten Interview Day

3 interviews were scheduled in this Saturday. 2 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon. It is not much different from a usual Saturday where I used to go to play groups doing similar things, except today I was dressed up a bit.

Mom's Grand Father's Funeral

Tonight, I spent a few hours in 萬國殯儀館 to attend Mom's Grand Father's Funeral. He was 101 years old when he passed away 3 weeks ago.  This is the first funeral I have been to.  The monks reciting Buddhism scripts sounds like to me they are singing endless songs through out the hours.

Mom and Dad will go to the graveyard tomorrow morning to attend the burial ceremony, leaving me at home with auntie Fong.

Mom's birthday

Tomorrow is Mom's birthday. We have a family gathering dinner at Grand Mom's home tonight. This year, I can sing along with others the birthday song to Mom before cake cutting.

Ark Garden

We have been to a Garden full of fake animal pairs today.  The theme of the park is try to scientifically reconstruct Noah’s Ark in a one-to-one scale according to the description in Old Testament.

I enjoy a lot in the Multimedia Exhibition located in the ground floor of the Ark.  The first attraction is the 180 ° Great Flood Theatre which is great visual and audio effect.  Even the floor is a shaky when they are showing the great thunder storm is coming. 

On our way to the next main attraction of 4D Theatre (actually showing 3D movie), I saw a various collection of Ark Models.  They also placed a lot of little animals/fishes/reptiles/incents as exhibition objects.  I personally like the gold fish street more as most of the creatures I saw in Ark I already seen them in gold fish street before. 

The most interesting exhibition object I like is a 2D computer animation projected on the floor located right before the 4D Theatre.  It is just a simple sequence of animation of a clock broken, repeated every minutes.  I may convey a very deep meaning of the inferior admiration of self destruction which I don’t understand at all.  The part I enjoy most is, with my own imagination, it seems I can interact with the animation and the broken of clock seems like is caused by my heavy step on the image projected on the floor.  I can’t stop playing with it for 10 minutes until Dad took me to the 4D Theatre. 

4D Theatre is another whole new experience for me.  I put on a pair of glasses with polarized filter on it.  The left and right eyes filter are differed by 45 degree of polarization axes.  This is the key equipment to trick my brain.  I am in the age that young enough to believe the 3D image I saw is real and reached out my hand to try to touch those objects in front of me.

It was an exciting trip.  After we have lunch in Tung Chung, I slept most of the time in the afternoon.  Even we later arrived Disney Hotel, I didn’t wake up at all while sitting in the lobby with the jazzy band in live.’

Self serving

I started to wash hand by myself.  Though I am not tall enough to reach the tap, there is a small movable platform under the sink which I managed to use it as the stepping stone.  Two things I needed to be reminded is: 1) turn off the top 2) put back the movable platform after use.

Ocean Park

Today is a sunny hot Saturday.  Mom and Dad have their own schedule and I went with Grand Ma and her sisters to Ocean Park.  I can recognize most animals I encountered which include Panda, crocodile, dolphin, seal, parrot and shark.  Thanks Dad gave me a review in the early morning there ocean park’s web page before I start my trip. 

What is this?

Recently, I started to ask back “o依啲喺乜o野呢o架？” (What is this?) when I see something I cannot name it.  It has been a long while that Mom and Dad keep on asking me What is this or What is that to test my knowledge base.  My fight back indicate the maturation of the starting point of my own exploration.

Sleeping by myself

Last night is the 3rd night in a row that I go to sleep by myself. I used to have Dad accompany with me to drink milk in bed then slowly fall asleep. As I will be 2 years old in few days, Dad started to train me sleep by myself. He still accompany with me to drink milk in bed but then he will leave the room for 10 minutes and let me try to sleep. Though it is not smooth that every time I can do so, I usually can make it when Dad become serious half hour later.

Visiting PLA camp in Shek Kong Airbase

Grand Pa got 4 tickets of the PLA camp open day. It would be the first time I get close to the army and weapons.

I hold my brother

I feel really excited when I hold my brother for the first time.

Holding my little brother

I am so excited that Mom let me hold my little brother today. Dad keep on saying that I have to eat more rice in order to get taller as a prerequisite for me to hold my little brother by myself.

First Encounter

I met my little brother today. I touched on his foot when he is drinking milk. In addition, he gave me a big Elmo as a first meet present.

I am the elder sister

It is the first time in my life that both mom and dad are not sleeping in the same house with me. Though I don't know Dad went out with Mom to the hospital after I slept on Friday night, I felt strange next morning that both of them are out of my sight after I woke up.

In the evening, Dad came back with some photos and videos of a crying baby and showed them to me on the big TV screen. He told me that I am the elder sister of this little baby who has not yet have a name. I am excited and keep on asking dad to show me the baby photos again and again. He told me I can meet with the baby and mom tomorrow (Sunday).

Governor House Open Day

Today is the Governor House Open Day. Mom and Dad took me to see the Azaleas blossom there. We arrived slight before noon, which is my usual nap time. I nearly fell asleep at the beginning. The flowers are too static to me. Until I met the little bees, I was enlightened. Suddenly I have all the power to trace the bees and butterflies, climbing up the staircases and dancing in front of the HKSAR flags...

My energy keeps on throughout lunch time in a restaurant nearby in Coda Plaza. Re-charging process started right after we stepped out from Coda Plaza.

Nose Bleeds

My nose bled a little this morning. Mom thought that my link with the black-bone chicken soup I drank last night. It was the first time I taste this chicken soup with coconut and thin pork. It was tasty though.

I went to my third class of kids' ballet in kids' gallary. I like my ballet dress very much. Mom dressed me up at home. When she tried to put a coat over me for going out to Kids' gallary, I tried to avoid her covering up my beautiful pink dress. In the class, as usual, I am the most excited pupil and running around all the time. As a result, I fell at sleep right after the class.

When I woke up, I already sitting in a restaurant in Lee Garden II and have my lunch there. After lunch, I do shopping with Mom in Lee Garden II and visited the shops I used to run into, especially the must go one with toy piggy, dogs running around the floor.

Last item in Causeway Bay is playing in toy's library in Hong Kong Central Library.

Wait

I have been asked to wait in many situations, such as waiting for the milk ready, waiting for playing toys in turn...

Today, I used it to other people myself. While I was playing with Dad in the bed room, I asked him to "wait" me until I got a toy from living room.

Colour

I can tell few colours of objects by now. They include red, blue, yellow, orange. I can't tell green yet.

Sing a song

'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star' is the first song I can sing, well, not 100% though. I can replicate the melody from begin to end of the song but I can't recite the lyric. Instead, I filled up with meaningless words by myself.
