360

Last night, Grand Pa made a sudden suggestion of a family day trip. Dad worked out and executed the plan.

We went to Lantau Island by MTR, then took the Ngong Ping 360 cable car up hill to see the big Buddha statue. It is a very popular trip for tourist visiting Hong Kong. This time we went with Grand Pa's relative from China. Weather was not good with a bit of rain. The Buddha statue was hidden in the mist when we arrived the cable car terminal. We went to Po Lin Tempo have a vegi-lunch first. After lunch, weather turned a bit better and we saw Buddha statue from far. I always thinking he is saying bye-bye to me :-) and I bye-bye him back. Grand Ma took me up to the statue's platform and went inside it. It is a museum inside and it is the first time I encounter with the relics of Buddha.

We took a bus to Tai O, a small fisherman village, to have an afternoon tea break where we ate 豆腐花. The shop claimed that this 豆腐花 is made with water from local water source.

We took another bus from Tai O back to Tung Chung and end up with a dinner in the so-call outlet Mall.

Saturday

It is a winter Saturday with sunny weather. Unusually, I woke up earlier then Dad. We went out have lunch around noon time and I felt at sleep in the restaurant. I just got up in time when Dad took me to a local play group in Third Street at 2:30pm. After an hour of games, Mom took me to IFC to have afternoon tea with her friends. I am looking forward to the Tokyo trip starting out tomorrow. Though I have been in aeroplane couples of time before, it would be the first time I am concisely knowing that I am flying in the sky. In the past few weeks, I watched aeroplane with Dad flying across the night sky outside the window. I was so excited every time I saw the small spot of light approaching us from far far away.
